A Fish

Sunbeams dance upon the pond, Tiny ripples, soft and fond. I'm a fish, with scales so bright, Swimming through the morning light.

Bubbles rise, a silver trail, As I dart and flick my tail. Water lilies, white and green, Form a haven, safe and serene.

Dragonflies with wings so bright, Buzz and flit in airy flight. I watch them from my watery home, Happy just to be alone.

A gentle breeze whispers low, As I swim to and fro. Life is good, I'm full of glee, Just a happy fish, you see!
